Hi! I'm Reiru Izushite, brother of Esu! I'm not mean, please don't think so. :C

“Well, what else are they there for if not for me to eat them?” Millie’s brow furrowed, betraying her confusion. She hadn’t come across people offering themselves to her. “Why would you let me do that?”

“They’re not…they’re not a buffet, Millie. They’re people, even though you need to eat from them to live. And a lot of vampires have been killin’ em. I’m offerin’ because I have a lot of blood and it’s better than you attackin’ someone. But I gotta warn you s’full of hormones.” He was a nice guy. Even though he was on the good side, he didn’t want to have to kill her. He’d dusted enough vampires already.

“Me? I’m here.” Millie craned her neck and searched around a bit before her eyes landed on Reiru. She waved. Not quite what she was looking for, but maybe he could help. “Do you know where all the people went?”

He gave her an awkward little wave back, and a small, sheepish smile. “They’re all gone, ma’am. I helped get ‘em out yesterday. Sorry.” he then shrugged. He wasn’t sure if she was hunting or just wandering around.

Millie pouted, shoulders slumping melodramatically. “Well, why’d you do that for? I thought for sure this time I’d find somebody.”

“Cos they were in danger. You can’t go around eatin’ them.” he knew what she wanted, now. “…Maybe you could eat from me? Though s’not a good idea cos my blood is filled with hormones and such—”

groundedkat replied to your post: -tracking him down by scent and the blood trail, Reiru let himself come into Owen’s view, carefully, hair pulled down in an attempt to cover the left side of his face. His shoulders were a little sunk, and ears down, trying to silently display he was here to cause no harm.-

-this may have been a terrible idea. But Reiru slowly wandered to Owen’s backside, sitting down cross legged, beginning to heal one of Owen’s legs. He just wanted to help, not get involved in this pack/alpha business.-

-Still no reaction, outside of the werewolf’s leg twitching reflexively.-

-With the first done, he moved to the second, and then backed off and stood up, simply waiting for Owen to do what he wanted. He didn’t want to apologize for Esu’s cruelty, and worsen how Owen already felt. And he wasn’t going to defend her, either.-

You’re all good, now.

You should at least attempt to go look for the werewolf. What if he's grievously injured...or dead?

I’ll try, but he’ll more than likely snap at me. S’just my eyes look like Esu’s and if she hurt him I’ll be hated by association.

He wouldn’t wanna see me with my eyes like this anyways.

Why not ask your sister? She's the one who did it.

I kinda felt that. But that don’t mean she knows where he is.

Millie’s game was losing its fun. The time between kills had stretched more and more each time, and now it had been days since she had last dug fangs and fingertips into tender flesh. She tread through her now-familiar territory, searching every last crevice and sniffing out any hint of life amid the dead and rot.

They couldn’t be all gone yet. They were all somewhere, waiting for Millie to find them. Millie was just growing impatient with the search.

Reiru had remained in the dilapidated and empty City Hall, searching for scragglers just like Millie was, but to usher them out, instead of eating them. He had little else to do, his charges were gone and safe, somewhere better; to start anew.

The sound of footsteps made his ears hike up, head turning towards the sound as he stood straight up, to his height of 6’5”. “Who’s there?” he called out, hoping it was a human.

I think a certain emotionally-destroyed werewolf needs a hug.

…I should go find him. What happened?
